I love everything about training at Real Fitness: the top level trainers, the community vibes, the cozy neighborhood feel, and of course the results! All of the trainers are experienced and continue to learn, which means I'm always getting the best and most effective workouts. If you're looking to get strong while having fun, definitely go to Real Fitness for group classes and/or personal training!

I've been going to Real Fitness for about two months now, and I have to say they have done a damn great job since I started !!! The trainers there are awesome! They've helped and taught me the right ways to work out. I can tell that I've made progress not only in how I look but also in how I feel about myself.

Real Fitness offers group classes that are amazing. I was struggling with some of the exercises in the classes in the beginning and spoke to Lucho, one of the owners, who suggested semiprivate classes. This has helped so much! Highly recommend.

I've been at Real Fitness for about a month and have to say this gym is truly a gem in the fitness community. I've never been part of such intimate group fitness classes before; where the trainers really take the time to plan each workout from genuine knowledge and coach from extensive know-how. It truly makes me feel like I'm getting personal training without the personal training price tag. Plus, the gym is always clean, well-maintained, and provides an atmosphere that keeps me motivated in every class. I haven't been consistent about group fitness since before the pandemic, but the positive and inclusive atmosphere that I was missing from the standard gym environment has definitely made RF my go-to these days.

I've been a member of Real Fitness for 6+ years, I love the variety of classes!! Also the semi privates are game changer with tailored workouts to fit my specific goals. All the trainers are amazing and very knowledgeable. Great community. Love the constant source of motivation and encouragement I receive from the trainers and members!!

I started coming to Real Fitness a month ago when I moved to the area and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! So far I’ve tried the semi-private training and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a very different experience from a typical class because the group is smaller so the trainers can pay close attention to your form, make sure you are using the right weights, and take the time to adjust any exercise to work for any injuries you might have. My favorite part of Real Fitness has been how fun and amazing the trainers are. While personal training may sound intimidating at first, the trainers take the time to get to know you and make the experience a ton of fun. Going to class has become the highlight of my week!

We were in LA for a month staying just a block away and found this spot. When Peter, one of the owners, gave me my initial consult, he asked me what I wanted to work on. I told him that my partner absolutely loves working out but I don't get it, I am more of a yoga and dance person, so I wanted to better understand what he loves so much about the gym. Well, one month later, going here every single weekday, I really loved it and wish there was one just like it back where we live in SF. What I love is they have a great system of semi-privates and group classes. There is a great mix of variety and personalization. I felt like I got familiar with a lot of different types of workouts, felt a lot more comfortable in the gym, made progress and felt great after every class. The best part are the trainers. They are not only knowledgeable but are really fun and awesome. Seeing them everyday made me feel like they were our LA tribe. Jesse is so funny and always makes me laugh! We love James' circuit burn and dynamic mobility. Peter and Lucho, the owners are both super great. And John has endless positive vibes. I highly recommend this gym, and totally get why they have only 5 star reviews on Yelp!

Vivi just recently reached her two year milestone of working out at Real Fitness! She first started with personal training and now does all group classes. We’ve all been very impressed at how hard she works and how athletic and strong she’s become. Not to mention she’s lost 50lbs in the process!

Shantay

Shantay has been a member of Real Fitness for about one year now and attends classes 3-4 times a week. During this year she’s made great strength gains, improved her movement/athleticism and developed a healthier, sustainable eating lifestyle. As a result of all this, she’s lost one inch off her arms, waist and thighs, as well as weighing 15 lbs lighter. Side note: in a recent strength class where some of the male members who greatly outweighed her continued piling up as much weight on the sled as they could handle, she held her own and pushed the same weight as them each round! Congrats Shantay on your consistency and hard work.

Angella has been a class member at Real Fitness for 2 years. Starting June 1st she began upping her weekly classes to 5 and cleaned up her diet. From that date through today she’s lost 15lbs and dropped 2 clothing sizes. Her favorite class here is strength & conditioning where she really focused on continually upping the weights in all the movements and became one of the top lifters at the gym! So all of you “heavy weights will make me bulky” naysayers take note. Congrats Angella!

Casey

We want to highlight our member Casey for all the hard work he’s put in so far. The pic on the left was taken on September 29, 2016 when he had just started. The pic on the right was taken today. In a little over 4 months Casey has dropped 8 pant sizes due to better eating habits and consistently working out with us 4-5 times a week. He’s a recreational soccer player and has also greatly increased his athleticism and endurance on the field. We gave him the blueprint and he went to work! Great job Casey!
