What are the main focuses of the speed and strength training program?

This program begins by building a solid foundation in sprint mechanics, strength training, jumping, and agility. Once these fundamentals are established, athletes will follow a structured progression designed to consistently develop their athleticism and strength-helping them reach their full potential in any sport they play!

Strength Training

We teach foundational movement patterns like squatting, hip hinging, pushing, and pulling to develop efficient movers and build basic strength competency. We also focus on "athletic" strength through single-leg training, power exercises, multi-directional core work, and targeted accessory exercises that ensure all muscles are strong and moving well. This approach not only enhances sports performance but also builds resilience against injuries.

Speed Training

A faster athlete is an advantage in any sport. Two major keys to improving speed are proper sprint mechanics and increased acceleration-the first 8-10 strides. Our training focuses on both, helping your child move faster from point A to B and learning to move in the best way possible for their body.

Lifelong Habits

Habits formed in adolescence are easier to maintain into adulthood. Our program teaches youth the fundamentals of strength training-not just to enhance their athletic performance, but to build a lifelong foundation of strength, fitness, and confidence.
